Jule Briese is a poet, songwriter, author, storyteller, and workshop facilitator who lives in Qualicum Beach, BC, Canada.
Retiring from the classroom after 30 years of teaching, Jule has continued to nurture her interest in being a life-long learner. She earned her Certificate of Achievement in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of B.C. completing 210 hours of training and a competency assessment in conflict resolution/negotiation. 
Jule also has a Death and Grief Studies Certification having successfully completed 150 hours of training in Death and Grief Studies under the supervision of Dr. Alan Wolfelt at the Center for Loss and Life Transition in Fort Collins, Colorado.
A Certificate of Completion acknowledging 14 contact hours of Understanding Spiritual Pain was earned from the Sacred Art of Living Center for Spiritual Formation offered through Victoria Hospice Society in Victoria B.C. 
Jule received her End of Life Doula Certificate from Douglas College dec 2023. She is a registered member of the Canadian End of Life Doula Association. Jule considers herself a Dementia MAiD Doula. 
She hopes that Tranquil Transition will invite and inspire you to journey deeper into who you are, creating the time necessary for reflecting, processing and honoring the wisdom of knowing that lies within each of us. ​​​​​​
